Green light for a change to Czech State aid for green district heating

11/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 11 April, the European Commission approved a modification to a Czech support scheme (dated 16 December 2022) designed to promote green and more efficient district heating mainly based on renewable energy. The Czech Republic has notified an increase in the budget for the support package of €2 billion, bringing the total budget to €3.2 billion.
