Lisbon strategy must be implemented with support of European citizens, Council President Dick Roche states

Brussels, 04/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - Last week, when presenting the programme of the Irish EU Council Presidency to the plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), Irish Foreign Minister Dick Roche stressed on behalf of the Irish Presidency that "this Committee continues to make a valuable contribution in providing policy advice for the Council and Commission". He said he looked forward to "continued cooperation with this Committee during the Irish Presidency"....
