UK to reduce excise duty in favour of bioethanol

Brussels, 04/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The UK authorities have just received the green-light to reduce the rate of excise duty on bioethanol used for road transport. This complies with the Commission and the Council measures taken since 1985, which consistently encouraging the development of renewable energies, especially biofuels.
