Brussels, 07/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday Dominique de Villepin, French Minister for Foreign Affairs, called on members of the Quartet on the Middle East (EU, UN, USA and Russia) to "try and take the initiative again" and "replace things on the political ground", indicated AFP. In a radio interview, Mr de Villepin also called on Syria to "eradicate terrorism…including that on its own territory".
