Brussels, 07/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Transport Council in Luxembourg on Thursday is expected to allow for significant progress to be made in several areas, notably maritime safety, safety in tunnels and air transport. A political debate, on the basis of a Presidency questionnaire is expected on the draft directive imposing prison sentences in cases of serious maritime pollution.
