EPP-ED and PES groups want compensation fund for victims of terrorism

Madrid, 19/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The EPP-ED group at the European Parliament submitted, together with the PES, an amendment on the draft budget for the 2004 tax year, which aims to set up a pilot-programme for victims of terrorism. The objective of this programme, with an envelope of EUR 1 million, is to create a compensation fund for victims of terrorist acts.
