Parliament and Commission appear to want to "calm things down" in enbezzlement allegations affair

Brussels, 19/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission and the European Parliament appear to want to calm things down in the embezzlement allegations affair at Eurostat. This is borne out in the precautions taken in the perspectives of the conference of presidents of the political groups next Thursday in Strasbourg, which has been especially convened to look at this scandal and learn the relevant lessons.
