France, Italy and Austria are still the Member States that are lagging behind the most as far as transposition of directives is concerned

Brussels, 19/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - France, Italy and Austria still have the worse scores as far as the transposition of European directives into national law is concerned. According to the latest scoreboard on the internal market, to be presented on Monday at the Competitiveness Council, the average transposition deficit was 2.8% in July, the worse result for three years.
