26 members of Convention launch a petition against proposal to annex Euratom Treaty to future European Constitution

Brussels, 16/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - MEPs from the Greens/EFA Group at the European Parliament and national Green MPs have launched a petition, currently signed by 26 members of the Convention (including the representatives of Austrian and Luxembourg governments, Hannes Farleitner and MEP Jacques Santer) refusing to allow the Euratom Treaty to be annexed to the future European Constitution, as proposed by the Convention's Praesidium.
