Karl Lamers regrets that Italy and Netherlands are not part of "hardcore" - Europe to redefine relations with US on equal footing

Paris, 16/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - Welcomed on 3 June by Pierre Leguiller, president of the Assemblée Nationale's Delegation to the European Union and Convention Member, former German MP Karl Lamers expressed his hopes that France and Germany will put forward joint proposals on the creation of an advanced guard for foreign and security policy. According to a report by the Delegation, Mr Lequiller finds the idea of a "hardcore", first mentioned in the 1994 Lamers-Schäuble report still...
