Appointment of Galileo Executive Director

Brussels, 12/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Supervisory Board of the Galileo's Joint Undertaking decided on Thursday to appoint Rainer Grohe as Executive Director of the European satellite navigation programme, Galileo. His main tasks will be to manage the Joint Undertaking in carrying out the tasks defined in its Statutes; organise, manage and supervise the Joint Undertaking's staff; draw up and regularly update the development plan; prepare the draft annual budget and ensure the necessary...
