12/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - During its plenary session in Strasbourg, Parliament adopted the report of Belgian Christian Democrat, Miet Smet on the "open method of coordination in the areas of employment and social affairs". Parliament is subsequently calling on the Convention for better specification of this method and its incorporation into the future Constitutional Treaty (for details see EUROPE 30 April p 16).
