Brussels, 12/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has just approved two British aid schemes to the fisheries sector. The first was conceived to ensure the financing of the permanent removal of Scottish fishing vessels which target cod fisheries, to ensure a reduction in the fishing effort of around 15 and 20%.
