German company, REWE, has acquired BON APPETIT (turnover CHF 3.2 bn in 2002), the number three in food distribution in Switzerland. This transaction will enable it to consolidate its place as number three in Europe with a turnover of EUR 39.5 bn and 192,000 employees).
