Aventis and Merck found guilty of methylglucamine cartel

Brussels, 27/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has taken a decision against Aventis Pharma SA and Rhône-Poulenc Biochemie SA (Aventis group) as well as Merck KgaA, which were found guilty of colluding to fix prices and market shares for methylglucamine between 1990 and 1999. Methylglucamine is a chemical substance used in x-ray analyses.
