ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

LA BALOISE has bought the German insurer SECURITAS from Britain's ROYAL & SUN for 90 million euro. SECURITAS will be merged with LA BALOISE's subsidiary BASLER DEUTSCHLAND. The entity to emerge from the merger will employ over 1,300 people and have a consolidated volume of premiums of 680 million euro.
