Javier Solana pleased with situation in Mitrovica

Brussels, 27/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the CFSP made the following declaration concerning the latest developments in Mitrovica in Kosovo: "I would like to express my satisfaction about the encouraging developments in Northern Mitrovica. The extension of direct administrative authority of UNMIK to Northern Mitrovica is an important step in the further normalisation of Kosovo.
