European Free Alliance defends rights of regionalist party of Transylvania in Romania

Strasbourg, 21/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Free Alliance bringing together regionalist MEPs in the European Parliament, defended the" foremost party of a regional character in Romania", the Liga Transylvania-Banai, at a press conference in Strasbourg.. The EFA "firmly condemns" the decision taken on 13 November by the municipal court of Bucharest to refuse to register that party that had gathered the signature of the 11,425 "founding members".
