Commission declares 13 January 2003 as deadline for opinion on TretraLaval/Sidel merger

Brussels, 21/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has put the deadline for its opinion on a new examination of the TetraLaval/Sidel merger to 13 January 2003. The initial deadlines was for 29 November, but new elements provided by TetraLaval convinced the Commission to postpone its decision and start from scratch on 18 November last.
