Commission examines ten "Golden Share" cases

Brussels, 20/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission will examine ten golden share cases in light of the recent Court of Justice decision indicated Jonathan Todd, spokesman for commissioner Bolkestein, on Thursday. The Court's ruled on 4 June that the golden shares allowing France and Portugal to retain control of private companies, were illegal.
