20/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - the Solidarity Fund for youth mobility, created in 1994 by the International Railways Union (IRU) and the Council of Europe has so far allowed to finance 200 mobility projects enabling 3,500 young people to meet. This fund, fuelled by the payment of a euro on the sale of each Inter Rail card (for the under-26), is intended for young people in economic difficulties.
