ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

British group ICI - IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES (turnover £6.4 billion in 2001) is selling the share that it holds in its HUNTSMAN INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS joint venture, that it held hitherto with American HUNTSMAN, for the sum of around £295 million, to CSFB GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES PARTNERS, a CSFB subsidiary.
