Green light to SABIC acquisition of DSMS Petrochemicals

Brussels, 20/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has granted regulatory clearance to the proposed acquisition of DSM Petrochemicals by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC). SABIC is specialised in the production and sale of hydrocarbons, chemical products, polymers, fertilisers and metal products. DSM Petrochemicals is the commercial wing of DSM which is active in the polythene and polypropylene production and sales sectors, as well as hydrocarbons and other chemical products. The...
