ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

GN - GAS NATURAL, the first Spanish gas group with 90% of the Spanish market under its control, is on the point of losing control of its logistics subsidiary ENAGAS (turnover EUR 2.414 billion in 2001) of which 65% is the subject of a public sales offer. The price range envisaged is between EUR 5.85 and 7.55 per share, which should bring in between EUR 900 million and 1.17 billion for GN.
