Brussels, 20/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The General Affairs Council meeting on Monday in Luxembourg, reached a political agreement on the content of a negotiation mandate for a stability and association agreement with Albania. The adoption of the mandate and the opening up of negotiations will, however, be postponed till after the summer, depending on the progress achieved by Albania with regard to reform and political stability in the country.
