385 million euro to improve health and welfare services in Greece

Brussels, 18/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commissioner for Social Affairs, Anna Diamantopoulou signed a decision on 18 April approving a programme aimed at health and welfare in Greece for the period 2000-2006. Community assistance amounts to 385 million euro, 220.3 million of which from the European Social Fund (ESF) and 164.7 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
