Equal initiative in the Netherlands

Brussels,11/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - Anna Diamantopoulou, European Commissioner for Employment, has put her name to a decision approving the new Equal initiative programme for the Netherlands to cover the 2001-2006 period. The aim is to experiment with new ways of combating discrimination and inequalities on the labour market. The programme is endowed with a total budget of Euro 416.8 million.
