Strasbourg, 09/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has adopted a report by the Greek Christian Democrat MEP Antonios Trakatellis, in a bid to alter significantly the Community public health action plan (2001-2006) being proposed by the European Commission. The European Parliament is seeking the creation of a European epidemiological surveillance network (see EUROPE of 4 April, p.13), but has not accepted its Environment Committee's recommendations about the programme budget....
