South Africa's Oppenheimer family will be paid up to USD 15 million a year to run the DE BEERS diamond group (turnover of USD 4.8 billion forecast for 2001) after its USD 17.6 billion takeover bid was accepted by British mining company ANGLO AMERICAN.
