11/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - For technical reasons, the examination by the Commission, of the solution that would allow for the survival of the European development NGO liaison committee, in another form (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.10), was postponed. A source close to the Commission added that the prospects for the ending of the crisis were not brought into question and that the Commission would remain in touch with the CLONG for the time it takes for a formal decision to arise.
