According to Wijkman report, Commission Plan to reduce energy consumption does not enable to meet Kyoto targets

Brussels, 26/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The MEP Anders Wijkman (Swedish Social Democrat) considers too modest the aims of the European Commission action plan aiming to improve energy efficiency and energy consumption, presented in April 2000 (see EUROPE of 28 April 2000, p.8).
