ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) courier

The Belgian transport and logistics group ZIEGLER (estimated turnover of FF 6.4 billion forecasted for 2000 with a network of more than 50 companies) took-over the main courier activities of the French GRIMAUD (annual turnover of around FF one billion with 1,720 employees) for FF 15 million. Thanks to this acquisition, ZIEGLER will have, in France, a turnover of FF 3.3 billion in turnover.
