ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) gas

The German group RWE will buy 90% of the fifth largest Dutch gas company OBRAGAS (annual turnover of EUR 133 million with some 184,000 clients) for around EUR 329 million. The stake in question presently belongs to sixteen Dutch communes, the remainder being in the hands of the Sate group GASUNIE.
