EU concludes with Hungary and Czech Republic agreements to facilitate trade with view to enlargement

Brussels, 26/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - European Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy and Swedish Trade Minister Leif Pagrotsky signed, on Monday, two agreements to facilitate trade with Hungary and the Czech Republic. The agreements, formally called Protocols on European Conformity Assessment (PECAs) aim to extend certain internal market advantages to the candidate countries.
