Brussels, 08/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption this week of the reports by Marset Campos and Salafranca, the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs calls on the EU to amend the negotiating briefs for the association and trade liberalisation agreements with Mercosur and Chile, by eliminating the clause that stipulates new agreements will only be concluded after the end of the WTO multilateral trade round.
