The food processing group FLORIFOOD, a subsidiary of the Belgian holding FLORIDIENNE, has taken over the French company SURGEMER, which controls two small firms specialised in frozen products. These two firms, GARTAL and DOUSSOT, make an annual turnover of EUR 15 million. Established in France, FLORIFOOD-LA FRANCAISE makes an annual turnover of FF 300 million with six industrial units.
