Strasbourg, 13/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - Chris Patten will represent the European Commission at the European Union/United States Summit, next Monday in Washington. It is the 15th and last Summit of this kind for Bill Clinton, recalled Chris Patten on Wednesday before the European Parliament, adding: President Clinton will be missed by Europe, he has been a good friend for this continent and laid the foundations of a serious and mature dialogue between us.
