EUR 120 million to Arbed steel group

Luxembourg, 13/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank is granting a loan of EUR 120 million to the Arbed group in Luxembourg, for the modernisation of its steel installations in Bissen and Wiltz in Luxembourg, Gent in Belgium, Bremen in Germany, and in various centres in France and Great Britain. The funding comes within the framework of EIB action in favour of adapting the European steel industry to the structural changes of the market, thus strengthening the competitiveness...
