- Czech Republic: DEUTSCHE TELEKOM has pulled out of the race for privatisation of CESKE RADIOKOMUNIKACE, leaving the place free for TELE DANMARK as frontrunner. We recall that the Czech Government has put 51% of the telecommunications operator up for sale, a stake evaluated at 20.6 billion Czech crowns. Furthermore, the Belgian gas group DISTRIGAZ is interested by a stake in the Czech natural gas importer TRANSGAS that is to be privatised. The Czech Government intends to bring $1.2 billion...
