ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) oil

REPSOL YPF, Spain's foremost oil group, has concluded an agreement for the sale to SUTTON OIL of its subsidiary RPL - REPSOL PETROLEUM LIMITED, specialised in the distribution of fuel in the United Kingdom. So far controlled by REPSOL UK, RPL will now operate under the name of ANGLO PETROLEUM. This disinvestment comes within the framework of of REPSOL's takeover of YPF in June 1999.
