Monti announces that, from 1 January 2001, aid to renewable energies will cover difference between production cost and price on electricity market

Brussels, 23/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - European Competition Commissioner Mario Monti announced to the European Parliament's Committee on Economic Affairs that he plans in the near future to submit to the Commission a new regime very much in favour of State aid for renewable energies.
