European Commission proposes to extend to Serbia autonomous reduction in import duties

Brussels, 31/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is proposing to the Council to extend to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro: but the latter already benefits from it for aluminium products) as well as the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) the autonomous trade preferences that the EU applies to Croatia, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo.
