Brussels, 31/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission adopted on Tuesday its communication outlining the global and regional priorities it plans to pursue to ensure follow-up of the undertakings made at the summit between the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean, in June 1999 in Rio de Janeiro, and to prepare the second summit, to be held in Spain in 2002 (see yesterday's EUROPE, page 11).
