ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) automotive equipment

SOGEFI, automobile equipment subsidiary of the CIR group (DE BENEDETTI group) signed an agreement with UNITED INDUSTRIES in view of the acquisition of 100% in the subsidiary UNITED SPRINGS (consolidated turnover of EUR 21.6 million in 1999) for EUR 11.4 million. This operation will enable SOGEFI to reach the turnover of EUR 50 million in the precision spring sector.
