ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) fibres optics

The American group CORNING, specialised in fibre optics, announced the acquisition of the 10% stake held by CISCO SYSTEMS in the company OPTICAL TECHNOLOGIES bought in September from PIRELLI (see EU of 29 September). The operation will be carried out through a share swap.
