TNT POST GROUP (turnover EUR 3.923 billion during the first half of 2000), the Dutch postal services group, has acquired the American company CTI LOGISTIX from the maritime and rail transport company CSX CORPORATION (turnover around EUR 500 million in 1999) for the sum of $650 million. TPG affirms that, with this acquisition, it will become one of the three largest logistics companies in the world.
