German logistics group STINNES, a 65% owned subsidiary of E.ON, is to make a recommended cash offer of EUR 288 million for all of the shares held by Dutch HCI - HOLLAND CHEMICALS INTERNATIONAL (turnover $1.105 billion in 1999). The offer being made to shareholders will be at the rate of EUR 16.2 per HCI share. STINNES will also take on the debt incurred by the Dutch company, amounting to EUR 257 million.
