EIB acquires stake worth EUR 14.6 million in Bank Austria venture capital fund

Luxembourg, 07/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank has acquired a 40% stake, worth EUR 14.6 million, in the capital of an Austrian venture capital fund for SMEs, Unternehmensbeteiligungsfonds Mittelstandsfinanzierungs (UBF Funds). The fund, created this year by Bank Austria, mainly makes expansion capital available to high-tech Austrian companies in industry and services. The UBF Fund will have resources of EUR 36.5 million (ATS 500 million)
