Adopting of Community support framework for Objective 1 aid in Ireland

Brussels, 07/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - Commissioner Barnier signed, on Friday in Dublin, the "Community support framework" for Objective 1 aid in Ireland. This document outlines the priorities for Community interventions between 2000 and 2006 for a total amount of EUR 3.17 billion. The Objective 1 aids are targeted a under developed regions (GDP per inhabitant below 75% of Community average) and Commissioner Barnier welcomed this "extraordinary dynamism in the Irish economy" and the success...
