Work by Fifteen resumes on savings tax

Brussels, 07/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The French Council Presidency, which inherited the cumbersome dossier on savings tax in June, plans to tackle the task from next week on. The group of Fifteen responsible for preparing Council deliberations in the taxation field will meet, on Tuesday 11 July, to plan the unfolding of work until the end of the year. It is expected that discussions will be on the heart of the matter at the end of the month.
